Top cat

15 year old Drake recovering nicely from thyroid surgery and tooth extraction. Wonder where her name came from? She was my son's cat...that's a story for another blog....and his favorite TV show at the time he got her was Perry Mason. Who was Perry's side kick? Paul Drake. My son wanted a male cat, fell in love with Drake and she is officially Miss Drake.

Again, Ali gets that same look on her face when she's sitting up high on Youngest Son's headboard, out of reach of the grandkids. It's the look that says "please go away, leave me alone, let me be.. PLEASE!" Ali really hates the grandkids (any little kids, really) because they're just too noisy, too quick-moving, and too unpredictable. Not only that, they usually come to visit accompanied by Lola, their shih-tzu, and she hates dogs more than she hates little kids.

Cute kitty. She looks very nice.

And, may I add, cute QUILT! That is very nice, too! Did you make it?
