Twas the day after Christmas.....

........and the tree was systematically being undecorated. It isn't much of a tree to start with; maybe 2 feet tall AND in a pot because we must have a shortage of trees in our forest and need to plant one in the spring. There used to be red ribbons and a red garland on the tree. Seems a kitten pooped out a red ribbon this morning (thankfully) and there were pieces of garland on the floor plus almost all of the tips of the tree branches. Hum, seems to be a kitty butt and tail at the back of the tree and that would be Guido Fortunato. Not that sweet little Emma Lee is innocent. She is hiding in back of the stand to the left. So, the tree had the ribbons taken off, then the garland and now it is out the balcony door with its lights on for the turkey, birds, squirrels and the moose to enjoy. Tomorrow I'll tell you what Steve and I got for Christmas.

I can't believe our tree came through unscathed, unclawed and un peed upon this year.

When we had cats, we quit using icicles. Ever see a kitty running thru the house with an icicle + turd flowing from their rear?

Merry Christmas!

LOL, I quit using icicles for the same reason!

We didn't have a tree this year, except a 3' tall on in the dining room and a set of 3 small one in the living room. So yea! I don't have to undecorate!

Sweet Pea was an absolute dear and never so much as batted a ball. Granted, we had a water bottle attack on the first day it was up so she thinks the tree is out to get her. (:
Love you!

I once pooped out a red ribbon. My doctor gave me some medication for it.

We were really lucky with out cats. They completely ignored the tree. If only one of them would stop peeing down the heating registers, then our house wouldn't have that lovely litter box smell when the heat comes on.

Well this is the first yr that i have put a tree up in the house for a long time. Always had it up in the office were cats couldn't get too it. But office isn't big enough anymore. Wasn't going to do it but with everyone else doing theres i had to try it.
Well its a fake tree and all went well, other then no more decorations on the bottom of the tree. Several balls are down with no hanger hooks so must be in the tree still. But the tree is still standing so that is good. With ten cats and a pom we did good.
Happy New Year to you and all.
