Amy Winehouse 'Valerie' Live

Love, love love this song. Amy sang this during a live interview. The Mark Ronson video featuring Amy singing is a more upbeat version but she is not seen in the video. It's still cool. Both are good. My daughter is coming for a visit tomorrow so I'll be back Thursday.

Mesmerizing. Paraphrasing those old EF Hutton commercials, when she sings everyone listens. How could you not.

Wow, she looks like she's just sitting in someone's living room and so comfortable, yet she can belt it out like that. I hadn't heard that one yet. Thanks for sharing!

I like the song but I'd rather not see her. What the hell is that hairy tumor growing out of her head?

It's so sad that such a talented woman has so many problems.

Enjoy your time with your daughter and we all look forward to hearing about your wonderful adventures with her when you return to BlogLand.

Have a great visit with your daughter. Glad she could get through to the snow clad northland.

She sounds like Nelly Furtado but kicked up a notch.

beautiful! She is very endearing. I'm amazed that someone who is suppposedly in the clenches of drugs and alcohol can remember and perform an entire song so well and I often doubt whether I'm reciting my social security number accurately.

I think she is one of those artists that you either love or hate. I really dig her, even with the scary hair, but I hope she finds some peace within herself.

Here's where I seethe with jealousy - she is friggin picking her nail polish all casual like as she sings the shit out of that song! Effortless. The fact that she doesn't even get how undeniably talented she is may have something to do with her crazy. What ev! She rocks!
