Hot fun in winter.

Tuesday Chris and I went shopping and bought nothing. The weather was perfect; sunny and cold. We had salads for lunch(Greek and Oriental Chicken) at Slates Sports Restaurant. We got home about 3PM, picked up Steve and drove up to Western Pleasure Guest Ranch. We went on a sleigh ride. After the ride we sat by the fire in the Lodge and had hot chocolate and talked about the seasons in Idaho and how great snowboarding is at Schweitzer (like I would know). We drove into town for a sushi dinner then watched Michael Clayton on Pay for View after we got home.

Chris flies home today and while I am sad about that, she might be back in a few weeks because snowboarding at Schweitzer apparently really is great.

Meet Bud and Velvet.

What a perfect day. This is what all days should be like. Except you really should try snow boarding.

Shopping, sleigh rides and sushi - sounds like just the winter break you needed. Hope your daughter is back soon and gets you to go snowboarding with her.

What a great time! Would love to have more info on the sleigh ride, it's something I would like to do. Oh, and where is the sushi place? I gotta know these things for when I'm living up there!

You shopped and didn't buy?? Are you insane? That snow must be getting to you. LOL. I'm jealous of the sleigh ride. It sounds like so much fun.

Sounds like a good time, Rosemary. I saw Michael Clayton a few months back and while I enjoyed it I suspect the snowboarding would be more fun.

Hope your steam came only from the cocoa. (;

Hey, thanks for the comment about the timeshares. But with the deal I'm looking at, you're not going to the same place. In fact you NEVER have to go to your "home" unit, ever. And with the second bedroom "lock off" you basically have two units to swap. So it's like buying either two places or buying two weeks.

It seems like a great deal to me. And they have all of these "getaways" which are really cheap trips to take at other times without trading your unit.

For $25K, seems like a bargain to me since you own the deed and can will it to your kids, etc.

Love your snow pics! How did you like the movie? I haven't seen it yet.

Our snow is almost gone. Yours will be there until September, but it will be really fun to play in in the summertime.

You and Chirs had a perfect day...may you have many more...okay. I can appreciate snowboarding but my biones are not as strong as they used to be and when I fall I hurt and freeze up for ages...so am happy to do more gently exercises and still have the use of my arms and legs...
