FALLing into the......

.....Autumn season. Leaves are all over the ground and forest floor. It is a beautiful time in Idaho. The first two pictures were taken in our yard. The rest of the outside photos I took today while out on a ride with the girls..... around the bend and down the road a ways.......you know.....my road.

One of the "locals."

Looking west straight down our road. The haze is from slash pile burning that is going on all over the county.

There is an Alpaca ranch about a half a mile from our house....there are hundreds of these beauties there.

A sweet little Tamarack.

OK......I am addicted. These candies are beyond delicious.....and I got the big bag!!! My butt is going to be the size of Montana before Halloween.

One little kitten is being good.....another little kitten is looking for trouble.

The end.

You've just posted the perfect combination - that gorgeous scenery, those chocolate cherries (thanks a bunch, I didn't know about them) your cute cats and you! I'm craving an autumn vacation to Idaho.

Beautiful countryside, but I'm curious about what one does with alpacas. Haven't you heard that chocolate lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. You can look it up.

Those pictures look like WV, only flatter.

Hey - I just discovered (heard it thru the grapevine, then found them here): Snickers Rocking Nut Road. They are regular Snickers, but with a marshmallow, caramel and nut nougat and covered in dark chocolate. OMWord! So good!

jennie: the candies are like crack candy....i made steve swear that he would not let me buy one more bag....the one in the pic is the last of 3.

Jan: there are actually 3 alpaca ranches in Sandpoint. They all make really expensive outer wear like jackets, gloves and scarves. the one that I took the picture of also sells their animals to other ranches.

ETW: we are at 2500 feet....we are surrounded on 3 sides by mountains. we are in an area called the Purcell Trench.....it is flat but with hills all over the place. makes for nasty winters as this area is a snow belt with snow blowing from canada and our local mountains right down on us.

Wow, Idaho is SO beautiful!!--I had no idea! Thanks for sharing those pics with us! :)

Also, you've given me a new idea for a little gift for my Dad--he loves chocolate covered cherries, so I bet he'd like those Kisses. Thanks--'cause he's hard to buy for! :)

And as always, cute kittens!! :)

Today I woke up thinking about cats, and wanting to get one. It made me think of you.

I'm going to fight the urge though. They deserve more love than I can give them...

Wow I like the pictures of Fall...so nice and pretty. Nothing changes color here...except my cheeks. Oh that that kitty looks like trouble...I love cats..I want one that is just mine...right now the neighbor cats have claimed me..but they are not cuddly.

Oh I really want to try that candy.

aaaaaaahhhhh...fall is so amazing! I guess mother nature is so kind because she's got a doozy coming up next.
I'm usually not a fan of chocolate with a fruit flavoring with it, but i'm always willing to take one for the team and try these. :P

Good pix, Rosemary. I am not buying any Halloween candy! We are not going to be at home that night and I refuse to buy stuff that will make me gain any more weight!!

Late last year, during the post-Xmas clearance sales, I scored over 50 pounds of the Cherry Cordials. I bought an entire display box of them. The clerk miscounted the number of bags in the box so I ended up paying something like 80% off instead of the 60% off that they were supposed to be. I love the way they smell and taste.
