High School Graduation. Pomp and Circumstance was played...
...as Tyler (wearing long pants) walked proudly to his seat! The rain clouds took a coffee break and the sun was shining throughout the ceremony! In fact, the sun was so bright every photo of the field I took after the next one was bright orange. How special.
The stage was perfect, the speakers talked just long enough.
There were songs sung, colleges mentioned, awards given and parents laughed and cried. After the festivities at the school, we all boogied to Chris and Todd's and partied like 2009!!!! Tyler was outta his robe faster than the blink of an eye....but I was faster!!
There were hugs all around....from mom......
and from Gigi.
The family all gathered to give gifts and take a peek at the Laker Game....and there I was standing right in front of the TV taking photos.
Meatballs, salad, bread, snacks and drinks were all yummy. Grandmothers and friends gave a few more hugs.
Handsome and beautiful siblings smiled for a mother.
Everyone was so proud of Tyler's achievement. I had a great time and didn't cry until I got back to the hotel. I love this grandchild to pieces....I think he loves me too.....he said so.
And at the end of the evening the obvious was......the dog gets the best seat in the house.

13 Hot lentil soup on the stove...:
Looks like a perfect occasion
Everyone and everything looks beautiful.
Now, are you done traveling yet?
Yay another graduate. Congrats to him! Everything looked just wonderful!
I love to see happy families gather for happy occasions. it's too bad we can have those occasions every month or so.
The sun peeped out finally down here..we haven seen it too much lately. You seem like you had a great time..and congrats to the Grandson!
A beautiful family and great celebration!
We've never gone to the Buena Vista either...it was 10pm on a Sunday and it was hopping. Jimmy thinks we'll never get it, I think a Tuesday in February before happy hour would be ok.
Sweet-faced boy. That looked like a fun party. You've been having lots of reasons to be proud lately!
oh my!...the love and pride is just beaming from all of your faces..and he's got the sweetest smile...
Congratulations Tyler!
What a beautiful family you have Rosie!
Congrats to the grad. Is he a giant, or are you tiny?
WHAT AN EXCITING TIME, I JUST LOVE IT!
Congrats to the grandson and his proud Grandma!! :)
I can imagine how proud you must be. There's something about seeing young men getting started on their life. Bittersweet.
