Down, down, down.....

I turned the stove pilots on this morning and plugged in the heated pet beds. It was 28 degrees. I couldn't layer any more clothing and still move. ~Sigh~ I guess summer is over.

Heated pet beds???? Those critters of yours are well and truly pampered! Next you'll be knitting them all little hoodie sweaters.

Umm, Shammickite.....they have sweaters, but I didn't knit them...I bought them. Violet has 3 snow booties...she chewed one off.

We went from 100 degree days over the weekend to 50 degree low this morning. I had to experience it to believe it. Yes, fall seemed to arrive quickly.

It is still in the 70's here, but the trees are starting to turn and fall is in the air. Winter is coming. Keep the bunker full of chocolate and other necessaries.

28 degrees!? Yikes. I would love some lentil, thank you. It was chilly today here. The crossing guard told me that I'll soon not be wearing open toed shoes. I told her I'll hold out longer than she thinks.

Yep, was ice in the hose this morning when I went to get the frost off the windshield. Wow summer ended fast didn't it!!
You and all your pets need to huddle together in front of that fireplace. LOL

Yeah, I took Bunny out with me this morning and set her down in the yard expecting her to run to check the marmot hole like always. She bolted, but not to the marmots. She ran up the stair and in the house right on to her heating pad.

Just a few days ago, it was in the 80's here and today was about 70* and gorgeous. It was cool enough overnight for our heat to come on, but not like yours. I don't know how you do it!

I was browsing random person's blog from Salt Lake and she had snow on her mtns...i immediately thought of you. If it's cold in SL, it's gotta be freezing in SP, ID!
